Until I explored the full capabilities of AI as we know it, I thought I was just a regular guy. In my life, I’ve found tremendous (personal and financial) successes, and I’ve stumbled across tremendous failures as well. Truly, though, it seems as if using the infinite knowledge of AI/ChatGPT unlocked a creative spark and allowed me to jump into TOO MANY ventures.
However, I’m in tremendous gratitude to the support systems and safety net provideded by my parents, friends, family, and extended family – I’ve been better able to focus on non-business purpose and finally unlocked the key to my future sucess.
I attribute, as of June 2025, my future ability to succeed will be predicated on the following:
1. American (upper-middle class) upbringing to provide financial stability;
2. Affluence and Abundance (due to hardworking blue-collar parents, luckily in a real estate market that has provided incredible opportunities);
3. ADHD (not clinically diagnosed, by highly recommended by my 5th grade teacher) has allowed me to jump between multiple projects simultaneously;
4. PC Gamer background (yomiked, xmistic, xmistic-evilx) – As a top-tier Counter-Strike (admin of a few forums), world-class DOTA 1 player (many of my former “colleagues” include PeterPandam, DOTA.Demon, etc.), Heroes of Newerth, Diablo 2+, Warcraft 3/Starcraft player – the exposure to computer gaming allowed me to type 120+ WPM and gain incredible exposure to a keyboard and mouse. Critical for use of early-stage AI systems, such as ChatGPT;
5. Strategy game specialist (shepherdhole – https://colonist.io/profile/shepherdhole over 4,000 games played of Settlers of Catan; ~1700 peak rating for Bullet Chess – https://www.chess.com/member/yomiked1 ; always Grandmaster/Platinum for Dota Autochess, Warcraft 3 (usually over 80% win rate), Starcraft 2, etc.);
6. Serial Discorder/Redditor (I just like to type alot, ever since I ran CS or DOTA forums). It’s helped me to communicate better through text (ie., prompt engineering), with proper grammar and astute telegraphing of needs and intent online;
7. Left-Handed (out of the box, creative thinking due to exposure to a world built for right-handers);
8. Vietnamese-American with “Western Features”, I’ve been able to develop a strong community-first Vietnamese cultural value system, while still given the latitude to live with the most individualistic American mentality due to the support system around me. I’ve been able to be accepted in both cultures, and fully embraced due to my western features (not my own words, this was as described to me by a white friend of mine in college. My double-eyelids, wider face, dimples, etc. allowed me the privilege to be accepted by White-American power structure);
9. Diametrically opposed cultural values and communication styles – American and Vietnamese values and communication are completely different. The constant turmoil navigating between the two allowed me to fully map out the differences, so I can fundamentally understand and master both styles in any given context;
10. Exposure and desire to explore incredible systems and disciplines – Legal, Commercial & Residential Real Estate, Options Trading, Capital Markets, Early Child Care, Private Equity, Real Estate Private Equity, Venture Capital, Tech Startups, Construction/Real Estate Development Startups, etc.).
